To the Editor:
In his recent column published in this newspaper Jim McManus states that four to 10 eligible voters failed to help select our president. He suggests that this lack of participation is due to the hassle experienced by voters.
I say fine with me. If someone thinks it is too much of a hassle to vote maybe they should not be voting. Furthermore, I do not think it is wise to find ways to make it easier for these individuals to vote. I am away from my home in Morgan County over 80 hours per week and never missed an election that I wanted to participate in.
Compared to many countries, voting in our country is a breeze.
