Well it seems that we must be into an early fall. Our oak tree leaves are falling. I dread it when they all fall. There are several trees in the yard with large leaves. That really makes for a huge mess. I usually let the wind do the job of blowing them away. Many blow into the road and across the road. That suits me just fine.

I appreciated the letter that Gail Wade wrote a few weeks ago. It said that parents should help their children with their work. I agree 100 percent. When our girls were in school they got right on to their homework. If they needed help we helped to the extent that we could. We had materials here that were for their use. We did what we could for them. As to extra activities we met them at different places when they came from ballgames as cheerleaders. I was so proud of the two girls that I would do for them again if the time came and we were younger if they were in school. Unfortunately, that can’t happen.
Men are all about in different areas getting the woods in shape for the upcoming hunting season. I don’t know when it will be exactly. I imagine that it will be a good season for I have seen a good many deer all about. I know that they have eaten up most of my pecan.
