The Bible says, “To everything there is a season. A time for every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to gain, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silent, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.”  Ecclesiastes 3:1-8.

Here at Centennial we are very aware that there are four seasons of life and that life is like a vapor. I remember as a child that between Thanksgiving and Christmas it seemed as though Christmas would never come. Well, I am no longer a child. I am in the fall season of my life. Now seasons come and go so much faster.

Think about yourself. What season of life are you in? What things have you done or not done in the seasons God has given you? What if we narrow it down even further to a day, an hour or a moment? Have you done what God has said you must do to spend eternity with Him in heaven? If not, why not today?

The Bible says, “Today is the day of salvation.” Repent today. Confess to God you are a sinner and turn from your sin. Believe today that Jesus Christ died on the cross and shed His blood to forgive you of your sin. Accept Jesus today. Simply ask Him to come into your life and forgive you of your sin.
