The Morgan County High School (MCHS) competition cheerleading team competed at Winder-Barrow High School last Saturday, Oct. 26. The MCHS team took fourth place out of the six teams in their division, facing 8-AAA region opponents North Oconee, Oconee County, East Jackson, and Hart County.

“All of our stunts hit this week and we were overall pleased with our performance,” said MCHS Cheerleading Coach Denise Frost. “We had made some slight adjustments because we were missing a main base this week. We expect to have our full routine back this weekend for the competition at Oconee County High School.”

This Saturday, Nov. 2, the MCHS competition cheerleading team will compete at the Oconee County High School in Watkinsville. Following the Oconee competition, the cheerleading team will compete at the region meet, which will take place at Putnam County High School on Nov. 9.
