“Garner Drummond was the tournament champion in the 112 lb. weight class… pinning everyone he faced Saturday,” said Coach Roper.

“Zack Smith pinned three of his opponents on his way to second place in the 130 lb. weight class.

Jack Efird and Donovan McElligott finished in third in the 75 lb. and 90 lb. brackets, respectively.

Fourth place finishers for MCMS were Jacob Peters, Caleb Knight, Michael Stephens, Tre Davis and Joel Alcarez.

“Some of our new wrestlers were able to get some valuable experience to get them ready for the league matches that are coming up next week,” said Roper.
