We always hear that “Jesus is the reason for the season” and this is true, but there would have been no reason for Jesus to come had it not been for the sin of Adam when he disobeyed God in the Garden. In the book of Romans God tells us that “wherefore as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

ALL means ALL! We have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. So we all needed a Saviour! Christmas is a wonderful time of the year. Families get together to celebrate the birth of Jesus and exchange gifts in remembrance of the greatest gift ever given.

Nativity scenes are seen in front yards and even some town squares reminding us of the virgin birth of Jesus. Trees are decorated and remind us of the cross that Jesus died on to pay for our sin.

The lights on the tree represents the risen saviour who is the light of the world. Yes, Jesus did it all, He came to show us the way. In the Book of John, Jesus said ” let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in me. Why not make this the best Christmas of your life and receive the greatest gift ever!

Exchange gifts with Jesus, give Him your sinful heart and he will give you a new heart. All he has ever wanted was you. We at Centennial wish you a very merry Christmas and a blessed new year! * More Centennial Baptist Info… Looking for a place to Worship?
