Honey we had a 2013 Town & Country Holiday Tour of Homes BLOW OUT last week! I’m talkin’ about 2,400 people came despite the rainy forecast! Ricardo’s Kussenio was jammed packed with people and one of the tour goers told the Biz Buzz that her group “Just loved Ricardo’s!”
As to other downtown businesses: “We had a fantastic weekend! It was much better than we expected considering the weather,” said David Stone of Amici Italian Café. “The crowds were good and their spirits were very Christmassy!”
Madison Markets owner Jane Royal said: “We had great sales! We were thrilled to death.” And, Theresa Bishop owner of Belles, Beaux & Gifts (BB&G) said “Saturday was my biggest day ever!”
“It was a good tour! Saturday was the best day, but it was a good weekend all the way around,” said Faye Craft, manager of the Madison ChopHouse Grille.
Well and y’all know these crowds don’t just pop up like magic. Honey it takes hard work and a big THANK YOU goes out to our Madison-Morgan Chamber of Commerce staff, the 300+ volunteers and all of the home owners! Thanks for making Christmas a lot brighter for our businesses!
