Sunday morning’s attendance was good; missed those that were out due to jobs etc. Visitors were present pray they were blessed and encouraged by being in our worship service today. We as members are always blessed when they come. Just a reminder, if you live in or around our community and do not have a regular church home we would love for you to come be with us. You will be welcome wherever you live.
The call to worship was, “Emmanuel.” The choir special was, “Jesus is His Name,” Pastor Ron did the children’s church message on the meaning of the candy cane, good for the Christmas season. Special music was, “This was Heaven’s Child,” by Caitlin Butler singing and playing the piano.
Bro. Ron’s message, “What Christmas Spirit is all about,” Luke 1: 28-48. Mary had real Christmas spirit, an angel appeared unto Mary, thou art highly favored and the Lord is with thee and you art blessed among women. She was troubled at him saying this, the angel then told her not to fear for she had found favor with God, she would conceive and bring forth a son and call his name Jesus, she was humbled all this was happening.
The angel said, He shall be great, called the son of the Highest, the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David, he shall reign over the house of Jacob forever and of his kingdom there shall be no end. Mary asked the angel how shall this be, I know not a man.
The angel replied the Holy Spirit shall come upon thee, the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee; so the baby born to you will be utterly holy, the Son of God. Then Mary said, I am the Lord’s servant and I am willing to do whatever He wants, may everything you said come true. Mary heard truth from the angel, my soul doth praise the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Saviour for He took notice of his lowly servant girl and now all generations shall call me blessed.

God Sent Us A Savior If our greatest need had been information, God would have sent us an educator. If our greatest need had been technology, God would have sent us a scientist.
If our greatest need had been money, God would have sent us an economist. If our greatest need had been pleasure, God would have sent us an entertainer. But our greatest need was forgiveness, So God sent us a Savior. Merry Christmas to all!
