Several public service posts for city are open

Openings for public service appointments are currently available for the City of Madison’s Cemetery Stewardship Commission, Greenspace Commission, and Historic Preservation Commission.

According to Monica Callahan, Madison Planning Director, there are two openings on each commission open at this time.

Applicants must be registered voters of Madison to be considered for appointment. Applications for being appointed to a public service position are available on the City of Madison’s website, “”

The website also contains descriptions of each of the commissions, as well as recent meeting agendas. In addition to openings for positions on the commissions, members of the public should also consider serving on project subcommittees, which may better suit their interests.
