The vehicle was stopped on North Fifth Street and, Bish said, after the stop by Morgan County Deputy Chase Young, other officers noticed that Brown was making “furtive” movements in the vehicle.
Brown was ordered out of the vehicle and, Bish said, spat out a small plastic bag of suspected marijuana. Brown then fled from the stop and was physically apprehended after a Taser weapon failed to connect with Brown.
Officers searched the vehicle and located approximately two ounces of suspected marijuana in a book bag in the vehicle. They also located small plastic baggies and digital scales and cash.
Brown was also charged with obstruction of law enforcement officers.
