MCHS packs All-Region basketball teams

By Nick Nunn staff writer The Morgan County High School (MCHS) basketball program is enjoying considerable representation on the 8-AAA All-Region teams for the 2013-2014 season.

For the boys’ team,Tookie Brown has been named 8-AAA Player of the Year for the second year in a row, CJ Turman and Jailyn Ingram were named to the all region team, and senior Davon Gibbs was given an honorable mention.

The Morgan County girls hoisted Alexis Brown and Tatyana Davis to the 8-AAA Region First Team and Stacia McClelland to the Region Second Team. “I’m very proud of our ladies making the All-Region teams,” said MCHS Head Girls Basketball Coach Josh Reeves. “Their individual accomplishments are a great representation of the team accomplishments this season.” Congratulations to these Morgan County basketball players for being recognized for all of their hard work and dedication to the team.
