The Morgan County Board of Education (BOE) discussed the possibility of having to make up school days on account of inclement weather shutting down the schools two weeks ago.
“Right now, students have missed four days of school. If we don’t miss any more days, we won’t have to make up those days for students,” said Bennett.
“However, with the weather forecasts predicting more inclement weather this week, it is likely we are going to miss even more days. We won’t make a deicison until we see what happens this week, though.”
Even though as of now students will not have to make up any days, school system employees must make up the time missed because of the snow days.
