A Morgan County woman pled guilty to two counts of statutory rape last Wednesday during a motion day in Morgan County Superior Court.
According to court documents, Renee Michelle Huckaby, 24, Madison, pled guilty to the charges that stemmed from a September, 2013 indictment on two counts of child molestation and two counts of statutory rape.
Warrants allege that Huckaby had sex with a 15-year-old male and a 13-year-old male at an Eatonton Road motel sometime between September 1 and September 30, 2013.
Records indicate that Huckaby lived at the motel during the time. Huckaby was sentenced to 10 years, with 90 days to serve and the remainder to serve on probation.
She also was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and has been listed as a registered sex offender with the state of Georgia.
Records indicate that Huckaby was arrested on December 26, 2013. In other plea arrangements: Shannon Miles Calhoun, 25, Miami Beach, Fla. pled guilty to three counts of theft by taking. According to court documents, Calhoun took a Ford F-250 pickup truck and fiberglass animal heads from a carnival ride company along with a man’s wallet on April 16, 2013 from the Interstate 20 rest area in Morgan County.
According to warrants, Calhoun was a passenger in the pickup truck and when the driver of the truck stopped at the rest area to use the bathroom, she fled in the truck.
She was sentenced to 10 years probation and was ordered to pay $4,700 in restitution to the carnival owner and $4,200 in restitution to the truck owner. She was also ordered to perform 125 hours of community service. Lance Miller Lister, 30, Pensecola, Fla. pled guilty to one count DUI, one count possession of controlled counterfeit substances and one count failure to maintain lane.
According to court documents, Lister was arrested on October 1, 2012 on U.S. 441. According to warrants, officers located fake marijuana containers and five packages of fake marijuana in the vehicle consequent to Lister’s arrest. He was sentenced to 12 months probation, fined $1,000 and ordered to serve 40 hours of community service.
