I can’t wait to see what is in store from Mother Nature. Nice weather lately, BUT I think there is more cold weather to come. This is just February. Still winter but you can see the beautiful daffodils blooming in our yards. Nice in church on Sunday, love it.

Choir special, “Jesus is Coming Soon”, specials by Ruby, Jordan, Rusty and Kim and me then our pastor’s message from 2nd Chronicles 20: 3-12 “Where Could I Go But To The Lord”?

Always, to Him you can go with any problem, praise. If He is God, He is ours – to use us as He sees fit. Thank you Lord, that we can go to you any hour of any day. Butch preached from Psalm 19: 7-11 on Sunday night on The Preciousness of God’s Word.

The Word of God converts, it enlightens, it teaches us how to fellowship and it changes us. Until you know His Word you don’t know God. It was a beautiful service on Sunday night as one of our young ladies accepted God as her Savior and Lord. Harleigh Wilson we love you.

Eddie Stewart celebrated his birthday on Sunday and his son celebrated on February 14 so they each had a delicious cake made by Ruby.

Eddie wanted a special pound cake, while the son wanted one with so many fruit flavors made my mouth water just to know what all was in this cake. Blessings for both of you. Tara Elliott along with some friends enjoyed the circus last Sunday.

Stephanie, Sandy, Lily and Noah Martin were away this week end visiting Sandy’s parents,  the Horace Martins.   Joey and Tammy Waddell spent the weekend up and around Pigeon Forge as they celebrated their anniversary.

Several others enjoyed a trip to Florida.   We had Gayle and Jimmy down on Sunday for a short visit. We were so thankful to have precious visitors with us in our congregation. Thank you for spending this time with us and we pray you will return for more.

It was so good to have Betty Walker with us last night.  She is so tied down with her care taking job and we appreciate someone taking her job long enough to enjoy a service. Our prayers are always with you and yours, Betty. Also Eleanor Johnson was able to get to church for both services.

We miss those that don’t get to attend. Be  sure to mark your calendar for our special service on April 13th, as we dedicate our beautiful Sanctuary during the 11a.m. service.  We invite YOU to attend.  Birthday blessings to Jordan Busbee as she turns the big “21” today. Belated anniversary wishes for Joey and Tammy Waddell.

(I don’t have the exact date). Happy anniversary to Susanne and Eric today, Monday. Happy birthday to my granddaughter, Amber Holmes on March 1.  Steve Smith and Mattie Stewart on the 5. As we leave February and go into March, let’s think on this.

Happiness is not the absence of problems, it’s the ability to deal with them.  So until next week may the Lord bless you real good.
