Chamber’s Taste of Madison event is Thursday at The Hall

A Taste of Madison is bringing some of the areas favorite restaurants together in one place for an appetizing mix. This years’ “A Taste of Madison” will take place on Thursday, March 13 at the Cultural Center Hall. The evening will begin at 5:30p.m. and run for two hours. Tickets are limited and can be found on the Morgan County Chamber of Commerce website. Adults are $20 and children ages 4-12 are $10.

A Taste of Madison is a chance for the Morgan County Chamber of Commerce to feature some of the areas finest restaurants. This year’s event features music, a silent auction and of course food.

The participants include: Coca-Cola, Town 220, Chick-Fil-A, Ricardo’s Kouzzina, Amici, Pizza Hut, The Caboose, The Caboose- Madison, Steak N Shake, Scoops, Big Kev’s BBQ, Madison Chophouse Grille, Mitcham Farms, Yesterday Café, The Chowder House, Bonner’s, Bake Rattle and Roll, La Fonda, That Pizza Place and Wal-Mart.

A Taste of Madison’s precedes go to benefit the welcome center. This year’s sponsor’s include: WDDK/Dock 103.9, Bank of Madison, Rema Tip Top, Madison Markets, Alliance Corrugated, Morgan County Citizen, Central Georgia EMC, Mannington Mills, Madison Car Care, Jones Ewing Dobbs and Tamplin, Georgia Power, Jim Boyd & Associates, Great Estates Landscaping and Flambeau.

Beyond the food A Taste of Madison will feature a silent action filled with a number of different items for attendees to bid on. Silent action will include local products, trips and experiences. “It’s an evening of great food and fellowship,” said the Chamber of Commerce President Bob Hughes.
