MC JV soccer ties with Hart County

After a win over Hart County at home last week the MCHS JV Soccer team traveled to Hart to play on their field. On Wednesday, March 5, the JV Soccer Bulldogs traveled to Hart County. For the team this week’s game resulted in a tie 0-0.

The boys worked hard playing intensely. Coach Ian Palmer said that his boys pressured the goal well and played aggressive defense. Alex Garcia, striker, attacked well and took some good shots on goal. At half time Coach Palmer encouraged the boys to talk more.

Communication is something that the team will be working on as the move forward in the season. Coach Palmer went on to say that playing on the road is hard, the team was less comfortable without home field advantage but they adapted very well and played at a high level. The JV Bulldogs will continue their season with a game against Oglethorpe at home on March 12.
