JV soccer suffers tough loss to Patriots

The JV Soccer team was back at it this week taking on Oglethorpe at home. After the cancelation of games against Putnam from the week before the JV Bulldogs were back at home to take on Oglethorpe on Wednesday March 26. The boys faced a tough opponent. MCHS held the Patriots for much of the first half but then OCHS started breaking a way.

Oglethorpe scored four goals before Morgan County was able to get a point on the board. After a long first half the Bulldogs got a goal towards the end of the half. Trailing 1-4 at the half Morgan County came out determined not to let Oglethorpe run away with the game.

The Bulldogs were the first to score in the second half. However, this would be the only point the dogs were able to score for the rest of the game. The Patriots added two more points to their score and would go on to beat the JV Bulldogs 6-2.
