A 61–year–old Madison man was arrested Wednesday, May 7, and charged with false imprisonment after he allegedly held a 36–year–old woman against her will for three days and demanded sex, reports state. Alfred Joseph Duncan was arrested and charged after the woman told authorities that, after a fishing trip to a pond behind Duncan’s Godfrey Road residence, Duncan allegedly pointed a pistol at the woman and told her she was not leaving the residence. The woman said he then demanded sex from her, which she said she refused. The woman said for the next two days Duncan never slept and that she could not leave the residence. On Wednesday, she said, Duncan took a shower and the woman fled to a neighbor’s house and asked for help.
The neighbor transported the woman to her Clack Road residence and she called authorities, reports state. According to Lt. Mark Williams, Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, the sheriff’s office secured and executed a search warrant for Duncan’s residence and located suspected methamphetamine, schedule II narcotics, drug–related objects and a pistol allegedly stolen out of Loganville. Duncan also faces charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of schedule II narcotics, possession of drug related objects, and aggravated assault.
