Morgan County High School (MCHS) has earned the Region 8-AAA Sportsmanship Award for the 2013-2014 season, marking the second year in a row Morgan County has won the award. “This is a tremendous honor for our county because it reflects, not only our school, coaches, and players, but it means that the region views Morgan County as a hospitable place to visit,” said MCHS Athletic Director Steve Cisson.

“Our athletes compete with a high degree of sportsmanship and that is a tribute to the work of our coaches and to the families and the community that has raised and nurtured them.” Georgia Electric Membership Cooperative will present the annual award in the fall of this year.
