This week, the Morgan County 4-H archery team will compete in the 2014 National 4-H Shooting Sports Invitational in Grand Island, Neb. The invitational will begin Wednesday, June 25, with a chance for the competitors to check out the range and an Opening Ceremony, and the Closing Ceremony will finish out the competition on Sunday, June 29. The first day of competition will be at 8 a.m. on Thursday, June 26, with the compound team completing the FITA round and the recurve team competing in the field round. On Friday, the compound team will take on the field round, and the recurve team will engage in the FITA round.
Both teams will compete in the 3-D round on Saturday, June 28, the final day of competition.
