The Madison Artists Guild held its first-ever summer camp last week, from June 23-27 at the Icehouse Underground for children ages 6-12. “This art camp gives children an opportunity to be creative and have a great time with other children their own age while working on fun art projects such as painting, pottery, making jewelry, drawing, and much more!” said Jack Meyer, the MAG marketing director.
Camp registration cost $95 for MAG members and $120 for nonmembers. The Madison Artists Guild, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization dependent upon membership dues and contributions. According to the MAG mission statement, “We are dedicated to the education and encouragement of artistic endeavor in our members and the community through planned programs and regular gatherings.”
