The day is nearing closer and closer for the Morgan County High School Competition Cheerleaders as they prepare for their upcoming competition at Loganville High School on October 18.
When the squad traveled to Grayson High School to perform their routine for the first time it was clear that they were a force to be reckoned with. The girls took home a first place trophy and carefully considered comments from judges on their score sheets. Coach Denise Frost was impressed with the results from their first competition and decided to work with the squad to incorporate new skills for the following weeks competition.
The squad decided to up their routines difficulty level with the addition of one manned single leg liberties, which proved to be a smart decision for the Lady Dogs at their second competition at Commerce High School’s 4th annual Cheer Tiger Classic on September 27.
Once again, the hard work was evident to the judges as the Morgan County Competition squad took home the gold. Coming off two first place wins the squad is excited for another opportunity to hit the mat. By making sure their stunts hit, jumps are in perfect unison, and energy level is high the Morgan County Competition squad is ready to show their skills once again this Saturday Oct 18 at Loganville High School.
