On November 10 Colby Shimoun Jamison, 28, Marietta, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and speeding. According to reports, Jamison was stopped on Interstate 20 at 1:40 a.m. for allegedly driving 90 mph. While the officer was attempting to make a traffic stop, reports state, he observed a passenger throw a plastic bag from the vehicle. The bag was recovered and was a small amount of suspected marijuana. The passenger, Marcus Mintz, 26, Lawrenceville, was also charged with possession of marijuana.

On November 7 a fraud complaint was filed at the Pilot Truck Stop, Eatonton Road. According to reports, a trucking company reported that they had received a phone call from someone alleging to be with the Georgia Department of Transportation. The caller said that one of the company’s trucks needed $3,000 worth of repairs. The company authorized three checks totaling $3,000 to a man who alleged to be a repair facility. One of the checks was cashed at the Pilot Truck stop. The trucking company learned that there was no damage to the truck and no repairs were necessary.

On November 6 a warrant was issued for the arrest of Rosemarie M. Walker, 49, Madison for shoplifting. According to reports, Walker allegedly took $16.97 worth of Gillette Fusion razors from Wal Mart, Eatonton Road, without paying for the items. Walker had left the store when an officer arrived but an officer recognized her from video surveillance.

On November 4 Balan Omar Mitchell, 37, Madison, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass and giving false name after he was observed in the parking lot of the Subway restaurant, Eatonton Road after being told by authorities that he was not allowed on the property.

On November 4 an arrest warrant was issued for theft by conversion against Kenneth Edward Holden, 44, Brevard N.C. after Holden allegedly rented a 2014 Dodge Avenger from Enterprise Rent A Car, Eatonton Road on August 14, 2014 but hasdfailed to return the vehicle. The vehicle is valued at $14,284. Reports state that the last contact Enterprise employees had with Holden was when they spoke with his wife on September 9 via telephone. Since then, reports state, no contact has been made with Holden.

On November 3 Tabitha Michelle King, 25, Madison was arrested and charged with criminal trespass after she allegedly entered a Dollar General Store, Eatonton Road, after being banned from the store. King was located at a Morgan Circle residence and was given a citation and released on a signature bond. Reports state that she told an officer she had forgotten she was banned from the store.
