Many thanks to the MCHS Chorus

Many thanks to the Morgan County High School Chorus, who sang many selections of carols for us on the 4.  This was followed by the ROTC group presenting our homebound seniors with fruit baskets, and finally Shiloh Christian Home School group visited Monday, the 8, and hugged on our Seniors until everyone had a smile.  We can express  how much we appreciate the efforts of these groups, and how they “made our day” with their visits. We are off to Hambricks in Augusta Tuesday the 9, and are sure to get some good deals, as they give a bus discount as well as a senior discount to us on “bus week”.  We will be taking two bus loads of seniors, and are sure to have a lot of stories afterward.  Staff is busy shopping for our Family Ties group, because their Christmas party at Fusion Church is Monday the 15.  That’s about 60 gifts to purchase and wrap, so there is no such thing as an idle minute around here.  We’re looking forward to our Christmas dinner and gift exchange on the 23.  Every day is almost packed with seasonal activities, so please consider joining us this time of year for special fun.  We’ve gotten our ceramic supplies for the special orders received during our craft sale, and are working hard to get our customers’ needs met before Christmas, also.  Come be a part of the activities and fellowship at your Senior Center.  There is something for everyone. (706)342-1614 is the number and 991 S. Main Street is the address.
