FOG A CAUSE IN 411 CRASH

Eatonton resident Bradley Van Carswell, 61, sustained an “incapacitating” but non fatal injury, Georgia State Patrol reports state, after a Ford pickup truck he was driving north on U.S. 441 Monday was struck by a tractor trailer truck driven by Stanley Leroy Guest, 60, Danielsville. Reports state that the 6:40 a.m. wreck occurred after the tractor trailer truck driven by Guest jack–knifed while travelling south on U.S. 441 south of Tractor Supply. The trailer was hauling steel pipe that came loose and scattered over the highway. Traffic was delayed for several hours. Carswell was trapped in the vehicle and was extricated with a jaws of life.
