The Morgan County High School (MCHS) Hoop Dogs beat Hart County in their Friday night match up with a final score of 70-31.

The Varsity Boys Team took pride in their victory over such fierce competition.

The Friday night win was welcomed by the crowd, as they watched the Hoop Dogs do what they do best.

Assistant Head Coach Jonathan Nelson previously complemented Hart County on their ability to take home the win.

“Hart plays really hard and they have a winning tradition,” said Nelson.

The determined Morgan County players put a speed bump in Harts winning tradition with an impressive 70-31 win.

The following night, the Hoop Dogs played the Laney Wildcats at home.

Morgan County had high hopes of defeating Laney in the re-match but came up short with a final score of 78-62.

Next up, the Hoop Dogs will travel to East Jackson where they will face the Eagles.
