United Bank is pleased to announce the addition of Cathy Laseter, serving in the role of Trust & Investment Advisor for the Madison and Covington banking divisions. Cathy is a seasoned banking relationship manager, having worked the last 10 years for BB&T and Main Street Bank in the Newton County market. “Cathy is a valuable addition to our United Bank team,” commented Paul Courchaine, United Bank’s local bank president. “She enjoys spending time with her customers, providing quality attention and service that you can’t find at many banks these days. She embodies the spirit of United Bank’s philosophy of serving customers and building life-long relationships.”
Ms. Laseter will represent the bank’s Investment and Trust Division, offering a dependable, local resource for solid financial advice and services. She will provide new products such as the Self-Directed IRA and fee-based advisory program. “United Bank’s approach to Trust and Investments is much like our approach to community banking. These include the Arts Association of Newton County, Newton County Historical Society, Main Street Covington Board and the local DAR Chapter. She is the mother of four wonderful children.
