The Eatonton-Putnam Arts Foundation (E-PAF) is honored to have received a donation from Paula Deen’s The Bag Lady Foundation for $6,871.00. Paula Deen was at The Plaza Arts Center and at Cuscowilla on Lake Oconee this past summer for multiple ‘Canvas, Corks, & Cuisine’ events. Susan Couch (Paula Deen’s Lake Oconee Events Chairman) and Susan ‘Bubbles’ Greene (The Bag Lady Foundation) presented E-PAF with the check as part of proceeds that were raised during the summer events. Paula Deen founded The Bag Lady Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports women and their families in need. The funds have been designated to assist with the newly acquired Plaza Community Center (PCC) building. Many classes for students and programming initiatives are under way in the PCC, and E-PAF is excited to continue its services to the Putnam community with the assistance of this generous contribution.
