United Bank’s Nelson Hale named 2015 employee of the year

A reception was held Wednesday, January 20th in celebration of United Bank’s 2015 Employees of the Year. The employees are chosen by their peers in their respective division for this noble award. Nelson Hale was chosen by the Madison Division. President Paul Courchaine commented, “Nelson is a soft spoken, thoughtful, trustworthy and knowledgeable person. He exemplifies United Bank’s mission statement by providing excellent customer service and leadership in our Bank and community.” Nelson holds multiple leadership roles in the Madison community such as Chairman of the Board of Education, Rotary President and board member of the local Boys and Girls Club. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia. He and his wife, Cathy, have two sons, Drew and Austin. They are members of Madison Baptist Church where he serves as a Deacon.
