Momma! Take off that sombrero! You look the fool! What do you mean you can’t drink tequila shots without your sombrero? Lord have mercy y’all! Momma’s been celebratin’ Cinco de Mayo since Cinco de Tres! She’s as loaded as a shotgun in Texas on a Saturday night after payday during a bar fight! Somebody call PawPaw ‘cause Momma ain’t gonna be right for days! Ding dang it!

Did somebody mention Cinco de Mayo? Yes! Honey, we have a brand spankin’ new place to celebrate Cinco de Mayo – Dos Amigos Mexican Grill located at 1650 Eatonton Road in Madison! Right it’s located where Pacho’s used to be, but they have completely remodeled it and now the restaurant features an outdoor patio area! Ok y’all . . . Biz Buzz just went over there for lunch and it was slap-yo-momma delicious! I mean I’m really gonna go home and slap Momma! I had the fab Acos de Camaron (Shrimp Tacos) and they rocked! The menu has an entire Enchiladas selection, a Quesadillas selection, A La Carte options, Platos Combinados and a Tacos selection! Plus Dos Amigos features a special lunch menu and a full bar! Whaat?! Y’all get over there immediately! Accordin’ to owner Ben Patel the restaurant seats some 160 inside and another 48 outside! Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m.! It’s so delish! Tell ‘em the Biz Buzz sent ya! In High Cotton located at 158 West Jefferson Street in downtown Madison is flat ready for Mother’s Day with all kinds of new items, gifts and décor accessories! I just now got back from there and owner Ron Erwin took me all round to check out the new stuff! Ready. Set. Shop! First up In High Cotton has all kinds of cool gifts for the garden! I’m talkin’ new trellises, really cool weathervanes, wind chimes, event talkin’ frogs! I’m not kiddin’ it flat nearly scared me outta my Barkin’ Dogs Shoe Co. OTBT wedges! Honestly y’all, In High Cotton is one of my favorite shops! I just get lost in the beautiful and unique artwork, one-of-a-kind furniture pieces, even metal wall art! Y’all get over there immediately and get Momma somethin’ real nice for Mother’s Day! And, don’t forget to check out their ad in this week’s tour supplement!

Hey and if you really want to escape into a garden fairy land, honey just pop over to Le Petit Jardin located in the Madison Markets campus at 142 Academy Street in Madison! Owner Debbie Accetturo and designer Charles Easley have flat outdone themselves and you literally have to see it to believe it! They have created this fabulous garden atmosphere with a huge ball fountain surrounded by succulents, fairy garden structures, driftwood, natural moss and beautiful greenery. It is just amazing! Plus there are all sorts of great Mother’s Day gifts like crazy beautiful hydrangeas, orchids, fresh cut flowers, green planted gardens in their very own planter and much more!
