Cheerleaders at Morgan County High School (MCHS) hosted Kiddie Camp for all the young aspiring cheerleaders of Morgan County.
The high school athletes spent an entire week instructing campers on what it takes to be a great cheerleader.
From choreography, stunts, and tumbling, each camper had a blast learning the ropes.
Varsity Cheerleaders Meg Hawkins and Caroline Rittenhouse were thrilled to share the sport they love with the campers.
“We went to this camp when we were little so it’s cool to see the little girls doing the same thing we used to do,” said Hawkins.
The energy was high in the MCHS gym all week with 78 campers in attendance.
“We had a good turn out this year and the girls worked really hard,” said MCHS Competition Squad Coach Ashley Wegmann.
In addition to cheering for MCHS, campers along with the help of coaches and MCHS cheerleaders showed their support to local law enforcement and firefighters with personalized thank you banners.
