With new students and new Principals, the 2016-2017 school year is in full swing.

“Things are going smoothly here at the Middle School,” said MCMS Assistant Principal Patti Baldwin.

“We have the largest population of students we’ve had in a while with 750 students.”

On their first day back students navigated new hallways and familiarized themselves with new classrooms.

“We’re having a great first few days of school. All is going well even trying to get back into the swing of things with end of the day carline traffic,” said Morgan County Elementary School (MCES) Principal Ty Snyder.

MCES has an enrollment of 710 students, which is average compared to the past few years.

The High School welcomes new Principal Miki Edwards and the Primary School Welcomes new Principal Lisa Daniel.
