A Madison man and woman were giving time to put their clothes on last Thursday before officers arrested them and charged both with disorderly conduct.
James Michael Head, 50, and Pamela Saprina Butler, 45, were both arrested in the stairwell of the stage mechanical room at Madison’s Town Park. According to reports, an anonymous complaint called to Morgan County Dispatch reported that she had heard “growling” noises coming from the park.
When Madison Police Department Officer Jeremy Hoffman arrived at the park, reports state, he allegedly observed both Head and Butler naked in the stairwell and both were sleeping soundly and “snoring loudly.”
Hoffman said the “snoring could have been mistaken for a growling noise.”
Hoffman and two other officers attempted to wake both suspects and eventually were able to rouse them from what he reported as a “drunken state.” After allowing Head and Butler to dress, both were transported to the Morgan County Detention Center.
