Open Studio consists of process art for a small studio fee or choose from a variety of pre prepped crafts and projects priced based on project.

Foundation Cameron Hampton Workshop Series
The Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation (OCAF) is offering a unique series of one-day Saturday workshops with Cameron Hampton. Workshops are taught in a casual studio environment with hands-on demonstrations and individual assistance by the instructor. You can take just one class or all (separate fee for each) as each class will focus on a different medium and/or technique. Workshops are currently offered in Drawing, Painting (Multi-Media), Watercolor, Pastels and Sculpture. Works from the Hathia and Andy Hayes Collection
Through August 20 at the Steffen Thomas Museum of Art. Included in this exhibit are paintings and prints selected from the Hayes’ collection and include works by national and international artists. Artistic styles range from Expressionistic and Impressionistic to pure abstraction. Most works were produced from the mid20th to the early 21st centuries.

All Fired UP! Pottery and Ceramic Art from the Hathia and Andrew Hayes Collection 6 – 8 PM at the Steffen Thomas Museum of Art, Buckhead, GA near Madison. The exhibit includes works by over 20 ceramic artists, including three who have earned the distinction North Carolina Living Treasure, and samples the Hayes Collection of several hundred pieces by contemporary artists from throughout the US, Mexico, England, and Spain. Seagrove potter Ben Owen III will deliver a presentation followed by a gallery talk by the Hayes. Free and open to the public.
