State Superintendent Richard Woods paid a visit to Morgan County Middle School (MCMS) earlier this month.

Woods chatted with Superiendent James Woodard, Represenative Dave Belton, MCMS  Principal Darrell Stephens and MCMS teachers as he toured the school grounds.

“We were honored to host State Superintendent Richard Woods at Morgan County Middle School. He is touring twelve schools in surrounding systems in the next three days and his office selected our middle school as part of his agenda,” said assistant superintendent Sarah Burbach.

“Mr. Woods enjoyed visiting classrooms, meeting teachers, students, and the chair of the middle school’s School Governance Team, and eating lunch in the cafeteria.  He seemed very impressed with the school and level of community involvement and support at the middle school.”
