Authorities are reviewing surveillance video in an attempt to identify a single male who broke into the Buckhead Grocery store on Saturday, September 17 at 6:24 a.m.

According to Capt. Chris Bish, investigations division, Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, the male entered the store by breaking out the glass in the back door. Once in the store, Bish said, the man took an unknown quantity of lottery scratch off tickets, both in partial and full rolls, and fled.

Deputies arrived at the store after an alarm sounded at the Seven Islands Road store. Deputies cleared the store but found no one inside the store or outside the store.

“Apparently a number of rolls and partial rolls of lottery tickets have been taken,” Bish said.
