Angela Watson has been chosen as the 2016 Morgan County Charter School System Teacher of the Year!

Watson teaches at the Morgan County Elementary School (MCES).

“Congratulations to Angela Watson, our 2016 Morgan County Charter School System Teacher of the Year!” said Sarah Burbach, assistant superintendent. “Angela Watson will be an excellent representative as the Morgan County Charter School System Teacher of the Year.  She is passionate about doing whatever it takes to reach students and is a teacher leader at the elementary school…every day! Mrs. Watson goes over and beyond every day working in a co-taught class.  She is a detail person who manages to combine the required paperwork with great instruction!”

Watson was chosen as MCES’ Teacher of the Year last month. Each of the four school chose a Teacher of the Year, with Barabara Ingram at the primary school, Karisa Seymour at the middle school, and Pam Hooten at the high school. Watson emerged as this year’s winner to represent the entire school system. She will go on to compete for the title of State Teacher of the Year. Best of Luck to Angela Watson and our thanks for educating the children of Morgan County.
