What in the Sam Hill are they doin’ in the middle of Town Park in beautiful Madison? Turn. On. The. Tree! Honey here comes Schroeder with his little grand piano! Let’s all sing together y’all! “Christmas time is here . . . Happiness and cheer . . . Fun for all that children call their favorite time of year . . .” Now if that don’t put you in the Christmas shoppin’ mood, honey here are a couple of promotions from my advertisers that will!

It all starts at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26 and cost is $5 per ornament! You do not want your kid to miss this Christmas event! Oh and Madison artist Peter Muzyka wanted me to tell y’all that he is raffling off one of his original egg tempera paintings to benefit Morgan County Primary and Elementary School children who are eligible to participate in the Panda Pack Project. The project buys and packs nutritious snacks for the children to take home for the weekend. Purchase raffle tickets from any member of St. James Catholic Women’s Club or from the Madison Artist Guild!
Now on to one of my all time fave shops Artisan Alley! Gordon Clark wanted me to tell all y’all that startin’ Friday, Nov. 26, Saturday, Nov. 26 and Sunday, Nov. 27 starting at 10 a.m., everything in the store will be on sale from 10 percent to 20 percent off depending on how much the customer spends!
