Foundation Cameron Hampton Workshop Series

The Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation (OCAF) is offering a unique series of one-day Saturday workshops with Cameron Hampton. Workshops are taught in a casual studio environment with hands-on demonstrations and individual assistance by the instructor. You can take just one class or all (separate fee for each) as each class will focus on a different medium and/or technique. Workshops are currently offered in Drawing, Painting (Multi-Media), Watercolor, Pastels and Sculpture. Cancer Yoga

Pointe of Grace each Friday from 3 p.m. until 4:15 p.m. Free class. Offered by certified yoga instructor, Allie Bourgeois. This is for cancer patients and survivors. Also open to those with heart disease, diabetes, auto immune deficiency, osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis. Also open to care givers such as family members, nurses, hospice & oncology professionals.

• Madison Al-Anon

meetings every Thursday

Al-Anon is a support group for those affected by someone else’s drinking—be it a family member or a friend—who may or may not still be drinking. Meetings are held at 7:30 p.m. each Thursday night at the white building next to the Episcopal Church: 338 Academy St, Madison, GA. For more information, call 706-431- 6013.

Madison Artists Guild’s 16th Annual Gingerbread Workshop 6:30pm -8pm at the Madison Morgan Cultural Center Annex on Foster Street

. Fun for the whole family. We’ll also have a contest for 11-14 year olds with a $50 cash prize for most creative design. Advanced tickets are $17 per house for non-members of the Madison Artists Guild or $15 per house for MAG members if purchased by December 5th. Tickets sold at the door will be $20 for each house.
