A Lexington, S.C. man was arrested after a brief foot chase in the Chick-Fil-A on Monday after he had allegedly entered seven vehicles parked in a repair shops fenced area.
According to reports, Allen Michael Rish, 27, was arrested after a Morgan County Sheriff’s Office deputy initially observed Rish near U.S. 441 near Rite Aid drug store. Rish fled and several officers responded to the sighting and he was contained and arrested.
Reports state that Rish is wanted for allegedly entering the vehicles parked at Down South Diesel, Commerce Drive. Reports state that an employee at the vehicle repair shop told officers that he observed a man matching Rish’s description on video surveillance going through the vehicles in the company’s fenced and secured lot. The complainant said he also located a black plastic trash bag with items taken from the vehicles near a hole in the fence were entry to the lot had been gained.
When Rish was arrested officers located a Casio Verizon flip phone on his person. That phone, reports state, had been taken from a Ford Super Duty pickup truck that had been entered at Down South Diesel.
