Nicholas Kilmer is an American painter living in Cambridge, MA, whose artistic career is well-steeped in American and French Impressionism.   This exhibition is composed primarily of oil paintings – figure, landscape and portraits – selected from the body of Kilmer’s work over the past fifteen years.

The public is invited to a “Reading of Short Fiction” with Georgia State University Professor John Holman at 6:30 P.M. at the Icehouse Creative (271 West Washington Street, #140).  This event is being sponsored through a Charter School System Foundation Innovation Mini-Grant awarded to Morgan County Middle School teacher Luke McFarland as part of his “Visiting Authors” series.  The reading is co-sponsored with our partners, the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center and the Morgan County Foundation for Excellence in Public Education, Inc.  This night will be a great literary evening!

Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation (OCAF) is proud to present the Oconee County Schools Youth Art Month Exhibition Saturday, February 25 – Thursday, March 23 in its Main Gallery located at 34 School Street in Watkinsville. This exhibit highlights over 250 young artists from Oconee County’s public and private schools, grades K-12. Youth Art Month (YAM) is an annual observance each March to emphasize the value of art and art education for all children and to encourage public support for quality school art programs.
