Grand Jury returns criminal indictments

The Morgan County Grand Jury met last week and returned several criminal indictments. The following persons were indicted.

Melissa Ladonna Aderhold, 31, Buckhead was indicted on four counts serious injury by vehicle, two counts DUI, one count reckless driving, one count driving while license suspended, one count failure to maintain lane and one count failure to wear safety belt. According to court documents, on March 25 Aderhold was arrested by the Georgia State Patrol after she allegedly, while driving impaired, struck a GMC Sonoma truck on Enterprise Road, Madison. The driver of the truck, warrants allege, sustained a broken neck and broken leg and a passenger in the Sonoma sustained a skull fracture and brain injury.

William Tyrone Robinson, 38, Aiken S.C. was indicted on one count trafficking in heroin, one count possession of Ecstasy with the intent to distribute, one count possession of Hydrocodone and one count obstruction of an officer. According to court documents, Robinson was arrested on March 28 by a Georgia State Patrol trooper on the east bound lane of Interstate 20. Warrants state that Robinson was a passenger in a vehicle stopped on the interstate. An officer patted Robinson down and felt a hard metal object in his waistband. Robinson attempted to flee on foot and the officer detained him and located suspected 8 grams of heroin, 9.5 Ecstasy pills and a Hydrocodone pill in the metal object.

Andrew Lee Whittington, 39, Marietta was indicted on one count trafficking in Methanphetamine, one count trafficking in Heroin, one count possession of Methamphetamine, one count theft by receiving stolen property, one count possession of firearm during commission of a felony, one count DUI, one count obstruction of an officer, one count possession of drug related objects, one count speeding and one count possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. According to court documents, Whittington was arrested on December 18, 2016 after he was stopped on Interstate 20 for allegedly speeding. Consequent to the stop, reports state, an officer located 15.7 grams of suspected heroin in the vehicle and one–half pound of suspected Methamphetamine in the vehicle.

Donna Melissa Hornsby, 32, Milledgeville was indicted on two counts serious injury by vehicle, three counts DUI, one count failure to maintain lane and one count failure to wear seat safety belt. According to court documents, Hornsby was arrested on May 11, 2016 after a vehicle accident on Georgia Highway 83 left a woman without use of her foot. Records allege that Hornsby was under the influence of both methamphetamine and methadone at the time of the incident.

Sean Claude Carter, 43, Brooks, Ga. was indicted on one count possession of Oxycodone, one count possession of Alprazolam, one count crossing the guard line with contraband, three counts DUI and one count endangering a child while driving under the influence. According to court documents, Carter was stopped at the intersection of U.S. 441 and Pierce Dairy Road on December 15, 2016. Consequent to the stop, records state, an officer allegedly found a silver container in Carter’s jacket that contained 3.5 milligram bars of Xanax and a mixture of Oxycondone and Acetaminophen pills. At the time of the arrest, a child less than 14–years–old was in the vehicle driven by Carter.

James Lee Jenkins, Jr., 43, Madison was indicted on one count possession of LSD, one count possession of marijuana, less than an ounce and two counts possession of a drug related object. According to court documents, Jenkins was arrested by Morgan County Sheriff’s Office employees on January 14, 2017 when an officer investigating a possible burglary of a vacant house on Drake Road found a bag that allegedly contained LSD, marijuana and drug related items outside the house. Jenkins was located near the house, reports state, and allegedly admitted ownership of the items.

Jonathan Paul Rhoades, 24, Madison was indicted on two count burglary in the second degree. According to court documents,Rhoades was arrested on March 17, 2017 after he allegedly entered a property on Baldwin Dairy Road, Buckhead and removed an Aric Cats 4–wheeler and other gas–powered tools.

Charles Earl Bradley, 39 Madison was indicted on one count battery and one count criminal trespass. According to court documents, Bradley allegedly snatched a woman by her arm and neck at an Old Post Road residence and also allegedly threw a can of paint on the ground and pulled a counter top away from kitchen cabinets.

William Joshua Stowe, 26, Madison was indicted on one count trafficking in heroin, one count possession of Methamphetamine, one count possession of drug related objects, one count driving while license suspended and one count possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. According to court documents, Stowe was arrested on December 16, 2016 by Morgan County Sheriff’s Office investigators after a search warrant was served on his Spears Road residence. Consequent to the search, warrants allege, officers located 56.6 grams of suspected heroin, four firearms, three sets of scales, marijuana seeds, several glass smoking pipes, multiple bags containing residue of suspected methamphetamine, cell phones, a homemade rifle silencer, six pots of soil and rifle cartridges.

Edward Vance Tallon, 48, Madison was indicted on one count trafficking in heroin, one count possession of Methamphetamine, one count possession of drug related objects and one count possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. According to court documents, Tallon was arrested on December 16, 2016 by Morgan County Sheriff’s Office investigators after a search warrant was served on his Spears Road residence. Consequent to the search, warrants allege, officers located 56.6 grams of suspected heroin, four firearms, three sets of scales, marijuana seeds, several glass smoking pipes, multiple bags containing residue of suspected methamphetamine, cell phones, a homemade rifle silencer, six pots of soil and rifle cartridges.

Dylan Matthew Bell, 17, Madison was indicted on one count burglary in the second degree. According to court documents, Bell was arrested on February 25, 2017 after he allegedly entered a building on Holstein Road, Buckhead and removed a Yamaha 125cc dirt bike.

Loren Wayne Buckner, 28, Appling, Ga. was indicted on two counts criminal damage to property in the first degree, one count possession of an illegal weapon, two counts discharge of a gun near a highway and one count reckless conduct. According to court documents, Buckner was arrested on February 3, 2017 after he and another man allegedly discharged a firearm at public and electronic signs off Interstate 20.

Jeffery Andrew Solomon, 27, Covington was indicted on two counts criminal damage to property in the first degree, one count possession of an illegal weapon, two counts discharge of a gun near a highway and one count reckless conduct. According to court documents, Soloman was arrested on February 3, 2017 after he and another man allegedly discharged a firearm at public and electronic signs off Interstate 20.

Derrell Leneal Tory, 34, Covington was indicted on one count possession of marijiuana with the intent to distribute, one count possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, one count possession of marijuana, less than an ounce and one count possession of drug related objects. According to court documents, Tory was arrested on April 4, 2017 after a vehicle he was driving was stopped by a Madison Police Department office on Eatonton Road. Consequent to the stop, reports state, officers located a bag in the trunk of the vehicle that contained suspected marijuana and a Taurus pistol.

Marion Lee Boyd, 46, Madison was indicted on one count aggravated assault and one count simple battery. According to court documents, Boyd was arrested on February 7, 2017 after he allegedly struck a woman on the legs and back with a metal pipe at a March Street residence.

Armani J.T. Warren, 20, Madison was indicted on one count armed robbery and one count possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. According to court documents, Warren was arrested on April 25, 2017 by a Morgan County Sheriff’s Office deputy after he allegedly used a firearm to rob the Rutledge Crossing convenience store, Atlanta Highway, Rutledge.

Martavious Jackson, 23, Madison was indicted on one count making a false statement, one count possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, one count interference with government property, one count possession of drug related objects and two counts speeding. According to court documents, Jackson was arrested on November 16, 2016 after he was stopped for speeding by a Morgan County Sheriff’s Office deputy on Atlanta Highway. Consequent to the stop, the deputy allegedly located a black book bag in the vehicle that contained 33 individual wrapped suspected marijuana baggies and three large suspected marijuana baggies.

Cody Lee Hobirk, 38, Irmo, S.C. was indicted on one count forgery in the first degree, one count forgery in the second degree, one count theft by receiving stolen property, one count possession of drug related objects, one count giving false information to a law enforcement officer. According to court documents,Hobirk was arrested on April 25, 2017 by a Madison Police Department officer after he allegedly attempted to use a counterfeit $20 bill at McDonalds. At the time of the arrest, reports state, Hobirk was in possession of a 2000 Jeep that had been reported as stolen. At the time of the arrest Hobirk’s license was suspended and he allegedly told an officer his name was “Tobey Justice.”

Kelly Danielle Versailles, 28, Irmo, S.C. was indicted on one count forgery in the first degree, one count forgery in the second degree, one count possession of drug related objects and one count theft by receiving stolen property. According to court documents, Versailles was arrested on April 25, 2017 by a Madison Police Department officer after she allegedly attempted to use a counterfeit $20 bill at McDonalds. At the time of the arrest, reports state, Versailles was in possession of a 2000 Jeep that had been reported as stolen.

Alisha Shores Bain, 35, Athens, was indicted on one count possession of Hydrocodone, one count crossing the guard line with contraband, two counts DUI, one count drugs not in original container and one count open container. According to court documents, Bain was arrested by a Morgan County Sheriff’s Office deputy on February 19, 2017 when she was stopped on Eatonton Road and charged with DUI. Consequent to the arrest, warrants allege, Bain possess 17 Hydrocodone pills in her pants pocket when she entered the Morgan County Detention Center.

Edwin Green, 51, Atlanta was indicted on one count crossing the guard line with contraband, one count driving while license suspended, one count possession of marijuana less than an ounce and one count giving false information to a law enforcement officer. According to court documents, Green was arrested on April 25, 2017 by a Morgan County Sheriff’s Office deputy on Newborn Road, Rutledge. Consequent to a traffic stop, Green allegedly gave an officer a false name and attempted to carry marijuana into the Morgan County Detention Center.

Casey Christian Kohler, 32, Aiken, S.C. was indicted on one count habitual violated. According to court documents, Kohler was arrested by a Morgan County Sheriff’s Office deputy on Interstate 20 after he was stopped for a defective tail light.
