Marvin Miller, 85 of Madison, died January 15, 2018. He was born October 1, 1932 in Hall County. Mr. Miller was the son of the late, Joseph Richard Miller and Ruby Harper Miller. He was married to the late Shirley Moon. Mr. Miller served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Later he spent his career with the Westinghouse Corporation. Mr. Miller was a member of Faith Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and carpentry.
Mr. Miller is survived by his children, Elaine Hemphill and Larry Miller and Amanda. His grandchildren are Paige Ragogna and Danielle, Killian Hemphill, Allison Ruff and Matt, Todd Miller and Shannon, Mason Miller and Emily Miller. Great grandchildren are Sydney Rae Ruff and Brooke Miller. He also leaves a sister, Imogene Lord and a brother, Roy Miller, as well as nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was held on Saturday, January 20 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of A.E. Carter Funeral Home. Interment followed at the Buckhead Cemetery.
