In a meet that featured seven outstanding teams from around the state including Burke County (always a contender in AAAA) and Hancock Central (last year’s boys’ State Champions in A), the Morgan County track teams finished third in the girls’ event and fourth in the boys’.
Coach Aubrey Fortson was excited about the results saying, “There were some very good teams at the Greene County Tiger Invitational this weekend. I thought we competed well against some very talented squads that have good programs year-in and year-out.”
