On April 17, a theft by taking complaint was filed at Bohlen’s Garage, Fairgrounds Road. According to reports, an employee said that sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 8 a.m. on April 16 and April 17, someone entered his property and removed the hood from a 2004 Ford F650 tow truck. An officer observed the hoodless tow truck and noted that electrical wires to the vehicle’s headlight assemblies had been cut. The hood is valued at $3,000.
On April 16, an information report was filed at a Morgan Circle residence.
According to reports, a man treating a unit for bed bugs allegedly located a bag of suspected marijuana inside the unit. The man took a picture of the suspected marijuana and shared it with police. Reports state that officers attempted to get a search warrant for the apartment but failed.
However, an officer returned to the apartment and the female resident of the apartment relinquished the suspected marijuana to the officer but claimed no knowledge of the suspected marijuana. Reports state that the female resident will now be evicted from the apartment.
