Coldwell Banker Lake Oconee Realty/Lake Country presented a $2,500 donation to Greene County Habitat for Humanity on April 19. The check was officially given during the Coldwell Banker Lake Oconee Realty/Lake Country GCHFH Build Day.

“The spirit of the donation is given for both the opportunity to provide financial support, as well as the unbending belief in the value of the program and local volunteers who continually give of their time and expertise,” Coldwell Banker Lake Oconee Realty/Lake Country President and COO, Tom Martin said.

A total of 20 Coldwell Banker Lake Oconee Realty/Lake Country agents and staff members volunteered on the GCHFH Build Day to work with the future homeowners and other volunteers to build two houses for Greene County Habitat for Humanity.

The donation will go toward building the two houses, Greene County Habitat for Humanity Board Chairman George Rountree said. The keys to the houses will be presented to the homeowners in a dedication ceremony on June 10, Rountree added.

Coldwell Banker Lake Oconee Realty/Lake Country also provided a catered lunch from Georgia Butts BBQ in Eatonton for everyone at the construction sites.
