Madison Dunkin Donuts slated for September opening

Dunkin Donuts, one of America’s top 10 quick service restaurants, is slated to open its Madison location at the end of September on Eatonton Road next to the Louie Herron Dealership.

“We hope to be able to celebration National Coffee Day with the local Madison community on September 29,” said Dunkin Donuts spokesman Guy Rudiger.

The Dunkin Donuts brand is famous for its coffee drink selections and popular breakfast and snack foods like its huge selection of bakery goods with 70 varieties of donuts as well as bagels, English muffins, croissants and an large selection of sweets. In addition, the brand offers a wide selection of breakfast sandwiches and offers low calorie, vegan and gluten free options.

The Madison Dunkin Donuts franchisee Kadirali Chunara has lived in the Atlanta area for more than 25 years and currently resides in Snellville, Ga. Chunara currently owns and operates 10 Dunkin Donut locations.

According to Rudiger, the Madison location was selected because “we saw a great opportunity to serve the great people of Madison and bring them America’s favorite coffee, donuts and breakfast sandwiches.

“We also hope to bring convenience to people as they travel along I-20, allowing them a quick and friendly experience as they remain on-the-go to their final destination.”

In 2017, QSR Magazine ranked Dunkin Donuts seventh out of the top-50 quick service restaurants in the country in terms of average unit volumes (average annual sales) of $8,828,000.

The Dunkin Donuts franchisor is Canton, Mass. Dunkin Brands, which operates Dunkin Donuts and Baskin Robbins brands and is traded on the NASDAQ under DNKN.  There are more than 9,000 Dunkin Donut locations in the United States and 12,500 worldwide.
