Downtown Madison is hoppin’ y’all, and the shoppin’ just got a lot better! I’m talkin’ ‘bout Tammi Bodin, owner of Muzzy’s Gifts & More! Tammi just moved and expanded her shop in a new location at the corner of Main Street and West Washington. It’s one of Madison’s most visible storefronts with display window space to showcase the shop’s merchandise on two of downtown’s most high traffic streets!

The best part is that now Muzzy’s has more space for more fabulous offerings. Ok so I popped in there just a minute ago and I swear every second someone was scootin’ through the door to pick up monogram orders and shop! I lOVE it! Ok in case you don’t know, Muzzy’s is one of Madison’s most popular gift stores featuring awesome home accessories and fabulous clothing selections! I mean you’ll find everything from glassware, platters, uplifting wooden signs for the home, candles, personalized door signs and pillows to clothing from well known brands like Simply Southern, Southern Marsh, Southern Shirts Company and more.

But that’s not all! Tammi has added a great selection of baby items! So if you’re looking for a baby gift, head over there immediately! She has sweet little onesies that you can personalize with a variety of monogram styles, blankets, bags and stuffed animals! She even sells those ingenious Tervis Sippy Cups! Honey those babies will hang on to that sippy and never let go! They are flat amazing!

Muzzy’s also sells cool bags, raincoats and that all-time-favorite Poo Pourri – you know what I’m talkin’ ‘bout! Oh and I flat love, love, love her Southern Jubilee Wine glasses (hint, hint, hint)! Yikes! I almost forgot: Muzzy’s will monogram items bought in the shop as well as items you bring in from wherever!

All right y’all! Enough talkin’! Get over there! The new Muzzy’s address: 137 South Main Street in downtown Madison. Muzzy’s hours: Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.! Tell Tammi the Biz Buzz sent ya!

We’ve flat got to celebrate an amazing new, young, LOCAL writer! Katharine E. Wibell has already written two books in her Incarn Saga: Issaura’s Claws – the EPIC ebook’s 2018 Award Winner for Fantasy/Paranormal (Did I just hear a DING DANG?!) and it’s sequel Ullr’s Fangs! Ok so this Saturday, Aug. 4 from noon until 3 p.m., Katharine will be signing books at the wonderful Madison Artists Guild located at 123 South Main St, in downtown Madison, and then later at the delicious Ricardo’s Kouzzina Restaurant located at 271 West Washington Street near Town Park from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.! Yes! Ricardo Martini + fantasy book = Best. Evening. EVER! See you there!

Ok y’all! I reckon you’ve already heard all ‘bout the new Dunkin Donuts that’s fixin’ to open at the end of September ‘cause there’s a big ole business story in this here issue of the Citizen! I’m like so ready to get some of that fabulous coffee and a delish low calorie breakfast sandwich! Oh and y’all! Try not to drool but Dunkin Donuts just launched a new “Dunkin’ Run Menu” with irresistible snacks like surgery donut fries (WHAA), a gluten free fudge brownie and wait for it . . . . WAFFLE BREADED CHICKEN TENDERS … . REPEAT … WAFFLE BREADED CHICKEN TENDERS! Now that’s what the what y’all! Plus these Dunkin Run Menu items are like $2! Now that’s a ding dang deal if there ever was one!

Ok y’all that’s the Buzz on Biz! I’ve flat gotta head back over to Muzzy’s ‘cause I cannot resist those fabulous candles and must have one immediately! But don’t worry y’all  . . . cause . . . sing it with me now . . . You’re all invited back next week to this locality, to have a heapin’ helpin’ of  Citizen hospitality. Biz Buzz that is.
