The students of Morgan County High School (MCHS) celebrated Homecoming last week, with a jam-packed schedule of games, competitions, dress-up days, projects, a parade, a powder-puff football match, and ample amounts of school spirit.
The One Morgan Spirit was emanating throughout the halls of MCHS, as students celebrated the last Homecoming week to be held at the Old High School before the new high school opens after Fall Break. Homecoming Week culminated with the most anticipated football game of the season, at which our Bulldogs reigned supreme over opponents from Jackson County, breaking a losing streak.
A new Homecoming Queen was chosen Friday evening, Reagan Reilly, a senior at MCHS. Her father, Kevin Reilly stood by proudly as his daughter was crowned the new queen. Last year’s Homecoming Queen Maria Martinez crowned an overjoyed Reilly. All the students of Morgan County will surely remember the One Morgan Spirit that came to life for Homecoming week!
