On Oct. 3 a theft by taking complaint was filed at a Brand Vaughn Lumber Company, Lion’s Club Road. According to reports, a man said someone had removed registration tags from two vehicles at the location. One vehicle was a International box truck and a the second was a 2016 Daimier truck.

On Sept. 27 a theft by taking complaint was filed at Louie Herron dealership, Eatonton Road. According to reports, a man said someone removed an IPad mini from a rack inside the dealership’s garage. A GPS device attached to the IPad showed it being powered up at a Covington, Ga. residence.

On Sept. 26 a theft by taking complaint was filed at Louie Herron dealership, Eatonton Road. According to reports, a woman said someone had taken an IPad mini and a corporate gas card. The woman alleged that other items, including cologne, money and sunglasses, have also been missing.

The IPad, gas card and a clipboard holding the card and a gas receipt were all taken.
